September Sweetness

A few weeks ago this sweet bride married and I was priveledged to be a part of her special day! So excited, I just received these in my in box and had to share. The pictures came with the sweetest not attached, this is why what I do is so wonderful, gratifying and why designing is apart of me and my life!     

   "Thanks again for everything! Every time I see more   pictures of the flowers, I love them even more!" 

Love love love receiving thank you's like this makes me do a million happy dances to know I helped make their day beautiful!

Joy Of Christmas!

I have to say I am quite excited to have been selected in the "Joy of Christmas Tour" in November http://www.christmasjoytour.org/ House Tour this year in the Guelph/Rockwood. We will be decorating a gorgeous staircase, railing and breezeway! My mind has been working overtime with christmas ideas and designs, I can not wait! So make sure if you want to see some beautifully decorated Christmas ideas get your tickets and enjoy the tour, I am sure you will not be disappointed! Oh my goodness where did the summer Go??? already the 2nd of October! Wow... It's been one crazy busy summer over here and I can not wait to share all we have been up too! Good Morning!

I thought I would write alittle bit about, what to Expect when you hire Foxy Florals...
When it comes to weddings I know that all brides, including myself have high expectations and why not since this is one of the biggest days of your life! When hiring a floral Designer, it could be on the top of your list or not so top, in any event when Foxy Florals is hired you know we will always make sure to reach the top of your list. Having a design orientated background for pretty much half my life, it's a part of me. I have been in the flower world for 15 years, taking a small break to enter Interior design school filling my other passion. Marrying the worlds has done wonders, allowing me to create unique Florals/Designs. With an Easy Going, Professional Attitude you can be sure to have a wonderful experience accenting your day with Foxy Florals!  
Meeting Me, Getting to know you, it's all about your vision, flowers, yes' and no's. I like to get to know my couples as much as possible this allows me to design/tailor your florals as acouple/individuals. Not only is chatting a great way to understand you but Inspiring Pictures, Colour Samples, Fabric Swatches, picture of The Dress, are also wonderful tools to bring to our meeting. This way the feeling/mood of your day will also be felt. We than Will go through each area of the wedding and discuss where you would like flowers, whether Purchasing Containers Versus Renting Items. After our initial meeting is over I will take everything we have chatted about and bring it to life on paper through a quote for you both to look over.
Designing with Style! When it comes to the day I always have in the back of my head the Expectations I would have on my big day. So everything Foxy Florals does is with delicate care, thought, and detail orientated. I love being creative and making sure each Bride will have the Unique Personable Style they were hoping for making the florals accent/compliment each area/part of the day! 
I love what I do and I Believe it shows through the Final Product that is Delivered to you on Your Wedding day!

Caitlin & Derrick

On a Very Hot Day in July, Caitlin & Derrick stayed cool and said I Do! Can't say enough about this adorable couple, they are both so sweet and lovely. Caitlin inquired with me after I designed a good friend of hers wedding in 2009, and I am so happy she did.. Loved working with her, Such a beautiful happy easy going Lady. all she wanted was wedding florals to be simple yet elegant, pearls were the jewellry of choice so suited for her Audrey Hepburn kind of personality. Alittle attention to detail incorporated pearls on the stem wrapping, alittle hint in her bouquet, and some string of pearls drapped in the centerpeices, something so simple but becomes so elegant!..   ...photos by the Wonderful Amber Williams of http://www.amberrichmond.com/
